The Shorty Awards celebrate creative digital work, with major brands like Spotify and Disney among past participants, highlighting the competitive landscape. This recognition underscores the impact of AviaGames’ campaign.
The initiative combined gameplay with giving back. In Solitaire Clash, players collected Wish Stars, which AviaGames converted into donations for Foster Love.
Over five weeks, more than 691 million Wish Stars were gathered, resulting in a total donation of $136,000.
AviaGames partnered with Leo Gonzalez and produced a video series in Colombia despite a tight timeline. The campaign also featured a livestream and a final event in Los Angeles, where participants assembled care packages and bikes for foster youth.
The Beyond the Game series shared real stories, including Laura’s, highlighting the campaign’s impact. The campaign was also named a finalist at the Digiday Video & TV Awards.
